29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: a) On or about June 15, 2016 -- Building 6, Paint Department; Employees mixing paint and using spray gun to apply paint had full beards and were wearing 1/2 mask tight fitting respirators over painters socks that prevented a face-to-facepiece seal. b) On or about August 24. 2016 -- Building 2, Finishing Department; An employee pushing a cart to move the employee operating a spray gun down the side of the bus was wearing a 1/2 mask respirator and had visible beard on his chin that prevented a face-to-facepiece seal.
