29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) Fabrication department equipment; On or about January 26, 2016 and at times prior thereto, the employer exposed employees to caught-in, struck by and amputation hazards in that the employer did not conduct an periodic inspection of the energy control procedures for equipment (including but not limited to CNC benders and End formers) with multiple energy sources to ensure the procedures were correct and to ensure employees performing authorized work were performing the lock out tag out procedures correctly. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATIONOF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 316387562, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 2 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON AUGUST 10, 2012, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 760 WEST VETERAN'S BLVD, AUBURN AL 36830.
