29 CFR 1910.252(b)(2)(iii): Workers and other persons adjacent to the welding area were not required to wear appropriate goggles, to protect them from the rays when noncombustible or flameproof screens or shields were not used: a) On or about October 1, 2015- job site at 74 Onderdonk Ave, Ridgewood, NY 11385 The employer permitted employees to work in a facility where welding occurs and they are not protected from rays. GO NEW YORK TOURS INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 1910.252(b)(2)(iii), OR ITS EQUIVALENT, WHICH IS CONTAINED IN INSPECTION NUMBER 967293, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 02, ISSUED ON 04/25/2014, WHICH BECAME A FINAL ORDER ON 08/21/14. WRITTEN ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED PERSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19.
