29 CFR 1926.651(j)(2): Employees were not protected from excavated or other materials or equipment that could pose a hazard by falling or rolling into excavations, or by a combination of both if necessary. On or about August 19, 2015, on the excavation site, employees were exposed to a struck-by hazard when working in an excavation without protection from excavated materials that could fall or roll into the excavation. The Hurtado Construction Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 480201, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/24/2012, with respect to a workplace located at Aliana Subdivision Section 8, Richmond, TX 77406.
