29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. On 5/14/15, in the Meat Dept, temporary wiring and multi strip outlets were used in lieu of permanent wiring. The electrical equipment was exposed to water spray and overspray as the area is washed/sanitized daily. Instances included: 1 - 1st meat room electrical extension cord and multi strip receptacle outlet used to power radios in the past 2 - 2nd meat room - electrical extension cord and multi strip receptacle outlet used to power scales and cutting equipment No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
