29 CFR 1910.1030(h)(5)(i): The employer did not establish and maintain a sharps injury log for the recording of percutaneous injuries from contaminated sharps: a) Tarpon Paper Company: On or about April 10th, 2015, and times prior to, the employer exposed employees to blood borne pathogen hazards through a needle stick injury and failed to maintain a needle stick log that was available to all employees with exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials through handling and sorting waste streams that had uncovered or non-safety needles in the waste stream. b) Tarpon Paper Company: On or about April 16th, 2015, and times prior to, the employer exposed employees to blood borne pathogen hazards through a needle stick injury and failed to maintain a needle stick log that was available to all employees with exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials through handling and sorting waste streams that had uncovered or non-safety needles in the waste stream. c) Tarpon Paper Company: On or about April 20th, 2015, and times prior to, the employer exposed employees to blood borne pathogen hazards through a needle stick injury and failed to maintain a needle stick log that was available to all employees with exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials through handling and sorting waste streams that had uncovered or non-safety needles in the waste stream.
