29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Grinding machinery was not used with work rest(s) to support offhand grinding work: a. Extrusion area- The Ryobi bench grinder used to sharpen the extruder knives was not equipped with a work rest thereby exposing the employees to flying parts or chips. The Cycle Tex, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.214(a)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312776362, citation number 01, item number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on May 27, 2010, with respect to a workplace located at 906 East Hermitage Road NE, Rome, GA 30161.
