29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: Location: 13 Pembroke Road, Danbury, CT 06811 An adequate fall protection system was not in place for each employee who was performing roof sheathing activities on the 9 in 12 steep pitch roof with an eave to ground fall distance of approximately 28 feet. Rock Hard Homes Inc. was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 897667, citation number 1, item number 2a, issued on 5/21/2013, with respect to a workplace located at 15 Cross Street in Norwalk, CT, and became a final order on 6/15/ 2013. Almeida Homes & Carpentry LLC was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315555722, citation number 2, item number 2, issued on 8/4/2011 with respect to a workplace located at North Lake Shore Road in Brookfield, CT, and became a final order on 8/26/2011.
