29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet (3.1 m) above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level: location: roof on or about: 10/20/14 a) Employees engaged in roofing work from roof mounted bracket scaffolds were not protected from falling up to 16 feet to the ground below. location: northwest exterior corner of house on or about: 10/20/14 b) An employee engaged in roofing work from a ladder jack scaffold was not protected from falling up to 13 feet 4 inches to the ground below. The employer, Franco Roofing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 314977844, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 12/29/2011, with respect to a workplace located at 630 Palisade Ave., Yonkers, NY 10703.
