29 CFR 1910.134(k): The employer did not provide comprehensive, understandable training to employees who are required to use respirators as outlined in (k)(1)(i) - (k)(1)(vii) of this section. a). Paint Shack Area - On or about and times prior to November 2, 2016, the employer did not provide effective respirator training to employees required to wear respirators (e.g. 3M 7502 Half Mask Respirators) that included, but not limited to appropriate cleaning/disinfecting instructions, proper storage, and proper usage, thus exposing employees to a respiratory hazard and dermatologic injuries. Kevin Brake dba Goose Creek Cabinets was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(k) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1075773, citation number 1, item number 3f and was affirmed as a final order on January 14, 2016 , with respect to a workplace located at 4111 Savannah Highway, Jesup, GA 31545.
