29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i):The employer did not provide training to ensure that the purpose and function of the energy control program are understood by employees and that the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage, removal of the energy controls are acquired by employees and the training requirements included as specified in paragraphs (c)(7)(i)(a)-(c)(7)(i)(c) of the standard: Location: 123 South 20th St. Irvington, NJ 07111 - Shredder Line / Dust Room a) Employees were exposed to caught in and crushing hazards while performing servicing actions on a Vertical Baler Press Machine 6-2068, Shredder Line Baler Press Machine and Fiber Control Snow Maker machine without having the training and understanding on applying safe Lock out Tag out application inside the energy control panel and not having key, lock and tag devices readily accessible nearby for each machine.
