29 CFR 1910.1052(d)(2): Initial determination. Each employer whose employees are exposed to MC shall perform initial exposure monitoring to determine each affected employee's exposure. On or about November 7, 2023, to March 7, 2024, at an establishment located at 724 South Industrial Drive in Waupaca, Wisconsin, in the stripping room; the employer did not perform initial exposure monitoring for two employees stripping wooden church furniture utilizing a methylene chloride-containing paint stripper [i.e., Benco Sales B7 industrial paint remover, 70-80% by weight].
