29 CFR 1910.157(e)(3): The employer did not assure that portable fire extinguishers were subjected to an annual maintenance check. The employer did not record the annual maintenance date and retain this records: a) 300 E. Ayre Street, Newport, DE - Fire extinguishers were not inspected annually as required. The employees work in the area on a daily basis. This exposed the employee to potential fire hazards. The violation was observed on or about March 11, 2014.
