29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2): All spraying areas were not kept as free from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues as practical, with cleaning conducted daily if necessary. (a) Facility at 310 Bourne Avenue (building 50) in Rumford, RI: On or about March 13, 2024, employees working in the spray/grinding area were exposed to burn hazards from the accumulation of deposits of combustible residues from overspray of gelcoat products (Polycor 944 - Flash Point: 82 degrees F and 8040 MVP with a flashpoint of 89 degrees F) and fiberglass dust from cutting and grinding. Amaral Custom Fabrications Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1910.107(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1670157, citation number 1, item number 2d and was affirmed as a final order on 12/13/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 310 Bourne Avenue (building 50) in Rumford, RI.
