29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Each authorized employee did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: 2 Northeast Blvd, Sterling, MA: On and before September 23, 2021, the employer did not provide authorized employee training to an employee who was performing servicing and maintenance activities. On September 23, 2021, this employee was severely burned while performing a screen change on extruder line 16 without all energy sources being isolated and controlled. Berry Global, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1249487, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on March 4, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 190 Stryker Rd, Phillipsburg, NJ.
