29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of copper fume and iron oxide fume listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of copper fume (0.1 milligrams per cubic meter of air) and iron oxide fume (10 milligrams per cubic meter of air): (a) The welder working in the NW corner of the Plant 2 - Weld area was exposed to Copper fume at an 8-hour time weighted average of 0.1289 milligrams per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.3 times the limit of 0.1 milligrams per cubic meter of air. The sample was collected on January 16, 2019 during a 441 minute sampling period and exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 39 minutes not sampled. (b) The welder working in the NW corner of the Plant 2 - Weld area was exposed to Copper fume at an 8-hour time weighted average of 0.1108 milligrams per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.1 times the limit of 0.1 milligrams per cubic meter of air. The sample was collected on January 16, 2019 during a 460 minute sampling period and exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 20 minutes not sampled. (c) The welder working in the NW corner of the Plant 2 - Weld area was exposed to Iron Oxide fume at an 8-hour time weighted average of 14.88 milligrams per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.5 times the limit of 10 milligrams per cubic meter of air. The sample was collected on January 16, 2019 during a 441 minute sampling period and exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 39 minutes not sampled. (d) The welder working in the NW corner of the Plant 2 - Weld area was exposed to Iron Oxide fume at an 8-hour time weighted average of 13.46 milligrams per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.3 times the limit of 10 milligrams per cubic meter of air. The sample was collected on January 16, 2019 during a 460 minute sampling period and exposure calculations include a zero increment for the 20 minutes not sampled.
