29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: P&W Painting Contractors, Inc. - Toledo, Ohio: On or about September 28, 2014, the employer did not ensure that employees were protected from falls of approximately 12 feet when working on top the Shot Blast machine to inspect the filter screen. P&W Painting Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 313788044, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on August 24, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 26 Main St., Toledo, Ohio 43605.
