29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who is on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet (4.6 m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems, or fall restraint systems: On or about 8/17/2013, the employer did not ensure employees installing a metal sheet type roof at a height of approximately 19 feet above the ground were protected from fall hazards by a guardrail system, safety net system, personal fall arrest system, and/or other form of personal fall restraint system. NORTH AMERICAN ROOFING, LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 316388792, CITATION NUMBER 01, ITEM NUMBER 001, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON JUNE 18, 2013 WITH RESPECT TO A WORK PLACE LOCATED AT 699 HIGHWAY 27, CLERMONT, FLORIDA.
