29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards: (a) On or about January 29, 2025, the employer had not ensured that employees exposed to potential fall hazards had been trained to recognize and minimize the fall hazards associated with their work. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet from the upper two-story roof and 10.5 feet from the lower entryway roof. Zam Zam Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1622664, citation number 1, item number 1, group letter b, and was affirmed as a final order on October 24, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2126 N 15th Street, Sheboygan, WI 53081. Zam Zam Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.503(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1763055, citation number 2, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on October 1, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 10230 S Nicholson Road, Oak Creek, WI 53154.
