29 CFR 1926.1412(e)(1): The equipment in service was not inspected each month in accordance with paragraph (d) of this section (each shift). a) Jobsite: On or about 6/20/24, The employer did not ensure that a monthly inspection of the American Crane was conducted when the crane had mulitple deficiencies including significant rust and corrosion on the crane cab and crane boom, pitting throughout the boom and lattices, missing rating capacities, missing operator's manual/load charts, no control lever labels, no wind speed/direction indicator; the Sheaves on the boom had significant wear, the sheave supports were damaged and some of the boom lacings were rusted completely through, these deficiencies exposed employees working around the crane to crushing hazards..
