29 CFR 1910.36(e)(1): A side-hinged door was not used to connect any room to an exit route: 265 Newington Avenue (Shell Room): On or about, January 17, 2024, "Shell Room" of the Employers production facility was not connected by way of a side hinged door to an exit route. One end of the room was accessed through a sliding door and the other end was accessed through a sliding door. Integra-Cast Incorporated was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1492656, citation number 1, item number 1b, and was affirmed as a final order on March 09, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 265 Newington Avenue, New Britain, CT 06051.
