29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(i): Engineering and work practice controls were not used to eliminate or minimize employees exposure. Delos Reyes Palm Spring: On or before July 11, 2023, employees conducted bedding changes, room cleaning, and trash removal from occupied rooms which potentially exposed employees to bloodborne pathogens. The employer did not ensure that controls were in place that would aid employees in discarding contaminated linens and items. Employees were potentially exposed to bloodborne pathogens.
