29 CFR 1910.22(a)(3): Walking-working surfaces were not maintained free of hazards such as sharp or protruding objects, loose boards, corrosion, leaks, spills, snow, and ice: (a)American Engineered Products, LLC at 605 4th Street Southeast, De Smet, SD 57231: On or about and at times prior to May 16, 2023, the employer did not ensure that walking-working surfaces were maintained free of trip hazards in that bags of ice melt were placed in the walkway near the overhead door to the semi trailer at the back of the building near the powder coat area. This condition exposed employees to trip hazards.
