29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) Vision Air HVAC Inc. DBA Vision Mechanical at 1050 35th LN Pueblo, CO 81006: On or before 11/21/22 Vision Air HVAC Inc. DBA Vision Mechanical failed to protect employees from injury in that the employer did not require the use of fall arrest systems or other acceptable means of fall protection while employees were hand-hoisting ductwork with a rope at the edge of the roof on the 1st and 2nd floors of a commercial building. This condition exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 10 feet. Abatement Note: Abatement certification and documentation are required for this item.
