29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8):The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical and /or did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): a) Virginia International Gateway (1000 Virginia International Gateway Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23703): On or about 10/5/2022 and times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that all Safety Data Sheets (SDS), associated with the cleaning chemicals used at their facility, were available. The chemicals identified included: Spray Nine - Heavy Duty Cleaner / Degreaser, Diversity - Crew Super Blue - Mild Acid Bowl Cleaner, Sustainable Earth - Glass Cleaner, BETCO - GE Fight Bac Wipes - Disinfectant Simple Green - Industrial Cleaner and Degreaser, Pine-Sol - Multi-Surface Cleaner, Brighton - Antibacterial Hand Soap, EasyGlide - Glass Cleaner, Zep - Antibacterial Soap, and Pure Bright - Germicidal Ultra Bleach. Corrected during the inspection.
