29 CFR 1910.133(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation: a. In the service shop, at the RV maintenance area: On or about June 22, 2022, the employer exposed an employee to health hazards from hazardous chemicals which are known to be carcinogenic and irritants, in that the employer was not requiring an employee to use properly fitted eye/face protection such as safety glasses or safety goggles while using Safety-Kleen Premium Solvent during a repair job. b. In the service shop, at the RV maintenance area: On or about June 22, 2022, the employer exposed an employee to health hazards from hazardous chemicals which are known to be carcinogenic and irritants, in that the employer was not requiring an employee to use properly fitted eye/face protection such as safety glasses or safety goggles while using Macs Brake Cleaner during a repair job.
