29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of energy control procedures at least annually to ensure that the procedures and the requirements of this standard were being followed: 2 Northeast Blvd, Sterling, MA: As of September 23, 2021, the employer had not performed periodic inspections of energy control procedures, including, but not limited to the line 16 extruder, at least annually, to verify that the procedures were adequate and being used properly by employees. Berry Global, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1449986, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on January 29, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 202 South John Stockbauer Drive, Victoria, TX.
