29 C.F.R. � 1910.335(a)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that employees working in areas where there are potential electrical hazards were provided with, and used, electrical protective equipment that is appropriate for the specific parts of the body to be protected and for the work to be performed. In The Procter and Gamble Paper Products Co. Building 79, Albany, Georgia: On or about March 24, 2021, prior to beginning preventive maintenance work, the employer did not ensure employees utilized the appropriate personal protective equipment while performing duplicative verification testing on hazardous energy sources, of approximately 13,000 volts, thereby exposing employees to potential electrical shock and arc flash hazards during verification.
