1910.176(b) Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: a) Back storage room - The employer did not ensure that merchandise located in the back storage room was stacked in a matter that would prevent boxes from collapse, and stored at heights exceeding 12-15 ft tall, exposing employees to being struck-by falling boxes, on or before December 9, 2020. The Dollar Tree Stores, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1910.176(b) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1392698, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on June 26, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 8795 Southern Blvd West Palm Beach, FL 33411. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
