29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On or about August 24, 2020, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while performing roofing activities on a residential home located at 409 Walnut, Youngstown, Ohio 44505. The employees were using air powered nail guns and the employer did not ensure that they were wearing protective safety glasses. Boak & Sons Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.102, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1281411, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 3/29/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 17288 W Akron Canfield, Berlin Center, Ohio 44401.
