29 CFR 1910.106(e)(9)(i):"General." Maintenance and operating practices were not in accordance with established procedures which will tend to control leakage and prevent the accidental escape of flammable liquids. Spills were not cleaned up promptly. a) On or about 06-19-2020, located at BWXT NOG-Lynchburg 1570 Mt. Athos Rd. Lynchburg, VA 24504, in the Super Compactor Cell, an employee was exposed to flammable hazards from the compacting of 55 gallon drums containing approximately 25 gallons of 99% concentration isopropyl alcohol where the excess was allowed to pool on the floor for extended periods of time near damaged electrical equipment. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
