29 CFR 1910.146(d)(9): Under the permit-required confined space program, required by 29 CFR 1910.146(c)(4), the employer does not develop and implement procedures for summoning rescue and emergency services, for rescuing entrants from permit spaces, for providing necessary emergency services to rescued employees, and/or for preventing unauthorized entry: A) Morral Companies, LLC, located at 132 Postle Avenue, Morral, OH 43337: The employer does not develop and implement adequate procedures for rescuing entrants from permit spaces and for preventing unauthorized personnel from attempting a rescue from permit spaces such as the Lawn Mixer located in the Liquid Department. Employees, who are conducting cleaning/unjamming and maintenance activities inside the Lawn Mixer, are exposed to thermal, atmospheric, engulfment, and mechanical hazards. The violations occurred on or about April 16 and April 17, 2020, at the above address.
