29 CFR 1917.112(b)(1): Guardrails were not provided at locations where employees were exposed to floor or wall openings or waterside edges, including bridges or gangway-like structures leading to pilings or vessel mooring or berthing installations, which presented a hazard of falling more than 4 feet (1.22 m) or into the water, except as specified in paragraph (b)(2) of this section: a) On or about November 6, 2019 on the Manitowoc 3900 and 3500 cranes employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 4 foot 11 inches and the employer did not ensure walkway platforms were equipped with guardrails.
