29 CFR 1910.213(c)(3): Hand-fed ripsaw(s) did not have non kickback fingers or dogs so located as to oppose the thrust or tendency of the saw to pick up the material or to throw it back toward the operator: A.) Champion Modular, Inc; saw department; - On or about 11/16/18, and at times prior thereto, saws used for rip cutting were not equipped with a non kickback device. The saws without the non-kickbacks included, but were not limited to, Delta Unisaw 10 Tilting Arbor saw (model #34-806; Serial #98696117). An incident occurred on 11/16/18 when a piece of wood that was being ripped was kicked back towards the operator. B.) Champion Modular, Inc; saw department; saw farthest from the compressor - On or about 11/16/18, and at times prior thereto, saws used for cutting were not equipped with a non kickback device. The saws without the non kickbacks included, but were not limited to, Delta Unisaw 10 Tilting Arbor saw.
