29 CFR 1910.176(c): Storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constituted hazards from tripping, fire, explosion or pest harborage: a) Worksite, Back Room: Accumulation of boxes, shelving units, merchandise, and other materials which were stored throughout the floor exposed employees to fire and tripping hazards; on or about 10/31/18. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19. Target Corporation was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(c), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1202782, citation number 1, item number 1 issued on 2/23/17 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/12/17, with respect to a workplace located at 50 Holyoke Street in Holyoke, MA 01040.
