29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. On or about October 23, 2017, at the worksite located 15248 Clayton Road, Ballwin, Missouri, employee(s) for Cecil Compton Construction, LLC were observed installing siding while on the gable of the front porch and was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. The fall distance to the ground below was approximately 10.5 feet. Cecil Compton Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1229579, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on June 01, 2017 with respect to a workplace located at with respect to a workplace located at 503 Pecan Bluffs Court, Wentzville, MO 63385.
