29 CFR 1910.1030(g)(2)(i): The employer did not train each employee with occupational exposure in accordance with the requirements of this section: A) Wiers Farm, Inc., located at 4465 State Route 103 South, Willard, OH 44890: On or about July 27, 2017, the employer did not ensure that each employee with occupational exposure to blood-borne hazards was trained in accordance with the 29 CFR 1910.1030 standard. Such training should have taken place at the time of the employees initial assignment, and should have covered items such as, but not limited to, a copy of the regulatory text of the 1910.1030 standard, explanations of the modes of transmission of blood-borne pathogens, and a general explanation of the epidemiology and symptoms of blood-borne diseases. Wiers Farm, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard (1910.1030(g)(2)(i)), which was contained in OSHA Inspection # 1087819, Citation number 1, Item number 2C, and was affirmed as a final order on 11/06/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 4465 State Route 103 South, Willard, OH 44890.
