29 CFR 1910.23(c)(3): Regardless of height, open-sided floors, walkways, platforms, or runways above or adjacent to dangerous equipment, pickling or galvanizing tanks, degreasing units, and similar hazards were not guarded with a standard railing and toe board: On or about March 8, 2016, the employer failed to ensure employees were protected from a fall of approximately 39 inches between gear box motor assemblies while walking across the motors and driveshaft's to gain access to the southwest side of P3 Rolling Mill to remove cobles. The Timken Co. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.23(c)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 462358, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on July 1, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 2401 Gambrinus Ave.
