29 CFR 1910.38(f)(1): The employer did not review the emergency action plan with each employee covered by the plan when the plan was developed or when the employee was assigned initially to a job: The employer is failing to protect employees from hazards such as but not limited to burns, broken bones, smoke inhalation, and death in the event of an emergency situation. This was most recently documented at 2323 Forest Avenue Des Moines, Iowa, where employees are required to evacuate in the event of an emergency and the plan had not been reviewed with employees. The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.38(f)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1055731, Citation Number 2, Item Number 2, issued on 7/17/2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1300 NE 56th Street Des Moines, Iowa 50317 and became a Final Order on 8/6/2015. The United States Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.38(f)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 941333, Citation Number 1, Item Number 1, issued on 01/17/2014, with respect to a workplace located at 3100 SWS Young Drive Killeen, Texas 76542, and became a Final Order on 02/06/2014.
