29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: The employer does not ensure that personal protective equipment is used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: The employer did not ensure that a personal fall arrest system was in use to prevent employees from falling approximately 18 feet from a sloped roof while performing gutter cleaning, on or about May 26, 2015. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 1903.19(d). Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning and General Contracting, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of the occupational safety and health standard or it's equivalent standard OSH Act of 1970 1910.132(a) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 942559, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 5, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 131 Longview Ave, Leonia, NJ 07605.
