29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): 29 CFR 1926.760(a)(1): Except as provided by paragraph (a)(3) of this section, each employee engaged in a steel erection activity who was on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge more than 15 feet* (4.6m) above a lower level was not protected from fall hazards by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, positioning device systems or fall restraint systems: a. On or about January 16, 2015, two employees were exposed to fall hazard of 41 feet to the ground while landing bundles of metal decking throughout the roof (in between Lines A&B and Lines 1&2) .. b. On or about January 16, 2015, two employees were exposed to fall hazards of 41 feet while spreading bar joists throughout the roof (in between Lines A&B and Lines 1&2). c. On or about January 20, 2015, two employees were exposed to a fall hazard of 22 feet while spreading bar joists throughout the second floor (in between Lines A&B and Lines 1&2)
