29 CFR 1910.141(g)(2): Employees were permitted to consume food or beverage in area(s) exposed to toxic materials: a) At Bldg. 94, South lunch room, top of Dole juice dispenser - On or about 2/16/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium. b) At Bldg. 94, South lunch room, underneath microwave - On or about 2/16/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. c) At Bldg. 94, North lunch room, north side white refrigerator door handle - On or about 2/16/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. d) At Bldg. 94, North lunchroom, top of South side Gatorade dispenser - On or about 2/16/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. e) At Bldg. 94, Administration side, Supervisor's office kitchenette, box of Styrofoam cups - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium. f) At Bldg. 94, Administration side, Supervisor's office kitchenette, return air vent above kitchenette - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. g) At Bldg. 94, Mezzanine, Fencing adjacent to employee desk - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. h) At Bldg. 94, Mezzanine, Steel beam above break room area, adjacent to table - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium, lead, and beryllium. i) At Bldg. 94, Mezzanine, Break room, Top of locker - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. j) At Bldg. 94, Mezzanine, Break room, Steel beam above lockers - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to lead, cadmium, and beryllium. k) At Bldg. 94, Mezzanine, Break room, Refrigerator - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. l) At Bldg. 94, Contractor room, refrigerator door handle - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium. m) At Bldg. 94, Contractor room, top of refrigerator - On or about 4/10/12, employees were permitted to consume food or beverages in areas exposed to cadmium and lead. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903, the employer must submit documents describing the steps it is taking to ensure compliance, including a description of how this program will protect its employees from the hazards associated with ingesting toxic materials.
