29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Worksite: 231 Airport Plaza Boulevard in Farmingdale, NY 11735 - Employees were exposed to delayed egress in that exit routes in the warehouse were obstructed with merchandise, equipment, and debris restricting access; on or about 11/14/24. Note: Because abatement of this violation is already documented in the case file, the employer need not submit certification or documentation of abatement for this violation as normally required by CFR 1903.19. TJ Maxx was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1662932, citation number 1, item number 1-a and was affirmed as a final order on 10/6/23, with respect to a workplace located at 401 South Oyster Bay Road in Plainview, NY 11803.
