29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652 (b) or (c). On or about September 18, 2024, by a restaurant drive-through lane, employees were allowed to work in an excavation that was more than five (5) feet deep with unprotected sides and no cave-in protection. Mullin Plumbing was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1653454, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 6, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2936 N. Shields Blvd, Moore, OK.
