29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: A) On or about July 19th, 2024, procedures were not utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in adjusting the chain of the Barelt U1701 Gum Pouch Machine in Clean Room 13 / Line 4. B) On or about July 19th, 2024, procedures were not utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in cleaning the cooling bars of the Barelt U1701 Gum Pouch Machine in Clean Room 13 / Line 4. US Packaging, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1658327, citation number 1, item number 2-a and was affirmed as a final order on 8-8-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 401 East Morrissey Drive, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
