29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1): The employer did not initiate and maintain accident prevention programs as necessary to comply with this part: On or about November 16, 2023, employees were exposed to eye injuries and fall, overhead, and physical hazards from rough terrain forklift operation, while framing on a construction site in Savoy, Illinois. The employer did not have an effective safety and health program with specific work rules, competent person oversight, and employee training to govern employees' activities. LEGEND FRAMING GROUP LLC WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD OR ITS EQUIVALENT STANDARD 29 CFR 1926.20(b)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 1620626, CITATION NUMBER 1, ITEM NUMBER 1 AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON NOVEMBER 23, 2022, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 4413 LEGENDS DRIVE, CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS 61820.
