29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was fit tested or required to use the respirator in the workplace: In the Prep and Paint Hangars, employees painting and sanding aircraft were exposed to aluminum dust and titanium dioxide. Employees were required to wear respirators in the following instances: (a) On or about January 12, 2023, employees wore N95 filtering face piece respirators. (b) On or about March 8, 2023 employees wore 3M half face respirators with organic vapor cartridges. Rose Aircraft Services, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (name previously cited standard), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1550437, citation number 1, item number 2b and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 132 Flight Lane, Mena, AR 71953.
