29 CFR 1926.1051(a): A stairway or ladder shall be provided at all personnel points of access where there is a break in elevation of 19 inches (48 cm) or more, and no ramp, runway, sloped embankment, or personnel hoist is provided. Location: 3 Boston Way, Newburyport, MA On or about 09/07/22, the employer did not ensure workers accessing the roof from the fifth floor were provided safe access. JKA Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1051(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1402963, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/23/19, with respect to a workplace located at Executive Drive, Merrimack, NH, 03054.
