29 CFR 1910.252(a)(2)(iv): Cutting or welding was permitted in areas before the areas were inspected by the individual responsible for authorizing cutting and welding operations: Mixing Department, Mixer 22, Floor 1: On or about 9 April 2022, a maintenance supervisor overseeing welding operations outside of the designated welding and hot work area completed a hot work permit verifying that the area had been inspected and examined, when no such examination occurred.
