29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. Location: Hallway to the office area Employees are exposed to fire and entrapment hazards where the exit access is restricted to 20-inches wide due to grey bins stacked along each side of the hallway. The employer routinely fails to assure effective protection against maintaining exit access to at least 28-inches wide as required by the standard, as demonstrated on or about 03/06/2020, when employees were exposed to fire and entrapment hazards where the exit access was restricted to 20-inches wide due to grey bins stacked along each side of the hallway located at 450 Nashua Rd. Dracut, MA. Dollar General was previously cited for a serious violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450479, Citation 1, Item 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 04/08/2020 with respect to a workplace located at 1111 N Cole St., Bushnell, IL 61422.
